United Way of Greater Milwaukee wants to empower parents to be the primary sexual health educators of their children.  For the 7th straight year, we are observing October as Let's Talk Month.

Parents and guardians are the best sexuality educators for their children, but parents and guardians may not always understand how to do this the best way.  Believe us: Children want sex education to come from their parents or guardians.  That's why we've included resources, handouts and activities geared to help parents and children have open communication about sex and relationships.

It may feel overwhelming, but remember youth would rather hear correct information from someone they trust--like YOU!

Educators and community organizations can use this information to help connect parents and guardians.  Have students bring home the information, host a family night, or host a parent discussion group where you can pass out this information.
